Thanks to over 50 years of experience in the sector and to the 90 staff located in the 4 service and distribution centres in Durham, Glasgow, Guildford and Birmingham, MST is able to provide an extremely professional and timely customer service.
Founded in 1963 in Walsall in the West Midlands by Ken Whitehall, MST Parts Group was established as a family-owned steel stockholder and only in 1971, after moving to Washington on the banks of the River Tyne, did it specialize in the production of undercarriage spare parts serving local plant hire and civil engineering companies.
Since then, the constant search for quality, the professionalism of its staff and great customer attention have contributed to the exponential growth of the company which, under the guidance of Ken's great-grandson Rory Whitehall, in 2014 became the only authorized distributor in the UK for ITR undercarriage spare parts. A partnership that was further consolidated in 2019 with the acquisition of MST by the USCO ITR Group.
Today, also thanks to the large team of engineers and a team of qualified customer service experts, MST Parts Group is able to offer the widest range of spare parts for earthmoving machines and service and repair for the smallest mini excavators up to the largest mining machines, guaranteeing maximum national coverage, timeliness, efficiency and reduced logistics costs.
MST also has an internal division of 15,000 m2 for the production of buckets and accessories which it markets under the HSM (Hi-Spec Manufacturing) brand.
Each bucket is unique and designed in collaboration with the customer to meet the specific needs in the construction and mining fields and to ensure maximum performance even in extreme applications and wear conditions.
MST is able to produce large buckets for the largest excavators in the world including Komatsu PC8000®, PC5500®, Hitachi EX5600® and EX3600®, which feature high productivity and long life and, thanks to the use of SSAB Hardox® steel, also high strength and low weight.
We will talk about HSM buckets in more detail in a future article, in the meantime if you want to know more about the company and its products, contact us by filling out the form below.
